Senior Employee (500 Gems) is the value pick.It's the cheapest route to a bat — and the bat isn't flavor: the game's own Time to Fight Back badge ("Hit a mimic with a bat") confirms it's the counterattack tool. Hitting anomalies also refunds Energy, so the class pays for itself in longer shifts.
