Spuddys Anomaly Shifts — Badge-Verified to 50

Spuddys Anomaly shifts are the progression spine of the game: serve a shift, survive the anomalies, keep the reviews clean, repeat. How far does it go? At least Shift 50— not because we guessed, but because the developer's own badge list says "Complete 50 Shifts."

Debunk: "Spuddy's Anomaly only has 5 shifts"

At least one site covering this game reports it as having "5 reported shifts."The developer's own badge list — created July 22, 2026 and readable by anyone through the Roblox badges API — contains milestone badges for Shift 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50. A developer does not write a "Complete 50 Shifts" badge for a 5-shift game. The 5-shift claim likely fossilized from early-launch footage before anyone had played deep.

Shift 1

Your first completed shift — the tutorial hurdle.

Shift 5

First numbered milestone. From here, badges land every 5 shifts.

Shift 10

The shift one video source claims triggers an ending — see our ending page for why that's unresolved.

Shift 20
Shift 20 badge + 2 challenges

The big one: Flawless requires 20 shifts with 0 bad reviews, and Teamwork requires reaching shift 20 with 3+ players.

Shift 25–45
Badges every 5 shifts

The long middle: Shift 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 badges mark the grind.

Shift 50

The current badge-confirmed ceiling — the developer wrote a 'Complete 50 Shifts' badge, so the counter officially goes at least this far.

The two shift-20 challenges

Flawless — 20 shifts, 0 bad reviews. The purist run. Since bad reviews are the game's stated failure metric (see our bad reviews guide), this badge is the developer saying: the real skill ceiling is judgment, not endurance.

Teamwork — reach shift 20 with 3+ people. Keeping a crew of three alive and together for twenty shifts, on servers that hold 25. Coordination content, straight from the badge list.

How many Spuddys Anomaly shifts are there? All 11 badge milestones

At least 50. Of the game's 17 badges (all created July 22, 2026), eleven are shift milestones — and every unlock condition below is the developer's own wording, not our paraphrase. This table is the complete shift ladder as it exists in the official badge list:

BadgeOfficial unlock conditionWorth knowing
🏅 New RecruitComplete 1 shiftProof the counter tracks from shift 1 — everyone's first badge.
🏅 Shift 5Complete 5 shiftsWhere the every-5 cadence begins — and the number the '5 shifts' myth stops at.
🏅 Shift 10Complete 10 shiftsThe shift an unverified video places an ending at — see the ending page.
🏅 Shift 15Complete 15 shiftsFirst milestone past the disputed ending point.
🏅 Shift 20Complete 20 shiftsThree badges point here: this one, Flawless and Teamwork.
🏅 Shift 25Complete 25 shiftsHalfway to the badge-verified ceiling.
🏅 Shift 30Complete 30 shiftsMilestone — no special condition attached, just the count.
🏅 Shift 35Complete 35 shiftsMilestone — the 5-shift cadence holds.
🏅 Shift 40Complete 40 shiftsMilestone — deep-grind territory.
🏅 Shift 45Complete 45 shiftsThe last step before the ceiling.
🏅 Shift 50Complete 50 shiftsThe current ceiling. The developer wrote this condition — we didn't.

The other six badges (Time to Fight Back, Yummy, Secret Menu, Savior, Flawless, Teamwork) are mechanic badges, not milestones — the full breakdown lives on our badges page.

How do shifts connect to bad reviews and Energy?

Bad reviews are the per-shift failure metric — confirmed. The game's official description ends in all-caps: "DO NOT GET BAD REVIEWS." The Flawless badge (20 shifts, 0 bad reviews) proves the game tracks your review record across an entire multi-shift run, not just within one shift. Every Spuddys Anomaly shifts run is really two counters moving at once: shifts completed going up, and a review record you're trying to keep clean. Full breakdown in our bad reviews guide.

Energy runs on a per-shift cycle — single source, labelled as such. Only one outlet (Sportskeeda's classes guide, July 20, 2026) has published the game's resource numbers, so treat these as single-source until independently confirmed:

  • Energy is the action resource; classes modify how you gain and spend it (Employee starts with +5 Energy, per that guide).
  • Some class perks are explicitly keyed to the shift cycle: Senior Employee and Elite Batter regain one bat charge per shift at their top level.
  • Cashier and Waiter restore Energy through seating and serving — the routine work each shift is built from.

All eight classes and their Gems prices are on the classes page, with the same source label.

How to verify the shift count yourself

You don't have to take our word for it — the evidence is public:

  1. Open the game's Roblox page and scroll to its badge section. The full ladder — New Recruit through Shift 50 — is visible to anyone, logged in or not.
  2. Or query the public Roblox badges APIfor universe 10442743986. That's exactly where this page's data comes from — developer-authored metadata, not screenshots or hearsay.
  3. Cross-check any site's shift claim against that list. The site reporting "5 reported shifts" also hadn't listed the 17 badges added July 22 when we audited it — its shift number and its badge coverage are stale together.

The timeline matters because this game is barely three weeks old and moving fast:

July 4, 2026

Spuddy's (Anomaly) launches on Roblox.

July 20, 2026

Sportskeeda publishes its classes guide — the only outlet with Energy and Gems numbers so far.

July 22, 2026

The game updates and all 17 badges — including the full shift ladder to 50 — are created in a single drop.

July 23, 2026

Our check: award counts on the new badges were still at zero, so rarity data hasn't settled yet.

When the ladder changes, our updates page logs it with a date instead of silently rewriting history.

FAQ

  • How many shifts are there in Spuddy's Anomaly?

The game's official badge list — added by the developer on July 22, 2026 — includes a 'Complete 50 Shifts' badge, so shifts officially run to at least 50. Sites claiming the game has 'only 5 shifts' are contradicted by the developer's own badge ladder (Shift 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50).

  • What is the Flawless challenge in Spuddy's Anomaly?

An official badge: complete 20 shifts with 0 bad reviews. It doubles as confirmation that bad reviews are individually tracked. One bad review anywhere in the run breaks the streak, which makes anomaly judgment — not speed — the skill being tested.

  • What is the Teamwork badge in Spuddy's Anomaly?

An official badge for reaching shift 20 with 3 or more people. Servers hold up to 25 players, and this badge confirms the developer intends multi-player crews to progress deep together rather than solo-only play.

  • Do shifts get harder in Spuddy's Anomaly?

Not officially documented. The badge ladder proves length (to Shift 50) but says nothing about difficulty scaling, and no credible source has published a verified per-shift difficulty breakdown. We'll document scaling when it can be verified rather than inventing a curve.

  • What happens after Shift 50 in Spuddy's Anomaly?

Nothing is documented. The badge ladder currently stops at 'Complete 50 Shifts' — whether the counter keeps going past 50 without badges, or the game adds higher milestones later, is unknown. Given that the developer shipped the entire 17-badge system in one drop on July 22, 2026, a higher rung could appear in a future update. We'll extend this page when the official badge list changes, not before.

  • How can I verify the Spuddys Anomaly shifts count myself?

Open the game's Roblox page and check its public badge section, or query the Roblox badges API for universe 10442743986. The eleven shift badges — New Recruit plus Shift 5 through Shift 50 — are developer-authored metadata anyone can read. If a site's shift claim disagrees with the developer's own badge conditions, trust the badges.
