The window is that shift, while the area is up. Serving there is the badge condition — treat it as a real order in a special place, not as a pause to explore. Do not dump the rest of the diner to stare at it.
- If the area is open, take the serve. That is the limited window. One completed serve at the secret menu is the unlock. Hovering without serving wastes the spawn.
- Do not skip the floor for it. Normal customers still need service. Face anomalies still need a look-up-and-down and a refusal. The Table Monster still needs food in its square. Path-blockers still slow the route if you leave them. A secret-menu serve that costs a rush of bad reviews is a bad trade even if the badge lands.
